Newport Ball Top Wood Post Cap – Decorative Protection for Deck, Fence & Gate Posts

Upgrade your outdoor space with the Newport Ball Top wood post cap, a stylish and functional solution for protecting exposed wood posts. Designed to slip easily over standard 4x4 and 6x6 deck, fence, or gate posts, this decorative post cap adds a touch of classic elegance while shielding your wood from weather damage and wear.

Premium Materials & Timeless Design
Crafted from high-quality cedar, the Newport Ball Top post cap features a 4-inch diameter ball top that enhances curb appeal and complements traditional or modern outdoor settings. *Note: both 4x4 and 6x6 sizes have a 4" diameter ball top.

Available in Two Sizes – Choose the Right Fit for Your Wood Posts
Before ordering, measure the width and length of your post to ensure proper fit:

• 4x4 Wood Post Cap
  • Fits nominal 4x4 wood posts (actual size: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2")
  • Cap opening: 3-5/8" square
• 6x6 Wood Post Cap
  • Fits nominal 6x6 wood posts (actual size: 5-1/2" x 5-1/2")
  • Cap opening: 5-5/8" square

Fast & Easy Installation
Simply slide the post cap over the top of your wood post. For a secure hold, apply exterior-grade silicone adhesive to the underside of the cap and press firmly into place. Always follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions for best results.

Protect Your Investment
To maintain the natural beauty of the wood and extend the life of your post caps, apply a high-quality exterior wood finish to all surfaces—including the underside—before installation. This helps prevent cracking, fading, and moisture damage over time.
