HOW LONG WILL SOLAR LIGHTS  LAST?

Solar lights should last 1 - 2 years before replacing the battery. LEDs will last up to 100,000 hours. Most of our solar lights will stay on for 6-10 hours after sunset. Some will even stay on till dawn. See suggestions below for best results on your solar lights.

FOR BEST LIGHT OUTPUT:

Remove solar lights from the box as soon as you get them. Most of our lights will work right out of the box. However, some may need 1 - 2 days exposure to full sun to charge.

  • Light output will vary depending on the location of the solar light panel. Amount of time and intensity of sunlight exposure may affect the duration of light output. Light output may vary from 6 hours to dawn.
  • Brightness of lights will vary per style. Some lights, like spot lights, are designed with brighter LEDs, while others are designed to emit a pleasing, subtle glow.
  • For best results, place your solar light panels where it will get the most sun exposure. However, many solar lights will function just as brightly and last just as long with just a few hours of sunlight.
  • Place solar lights away from bright lights, like bright overhead lighting, decorative lighting,  street or porch lights, or they will "think" it is still day time and not come on. Some light with a manual on/off switch will work when placed near brighter lights.
  • Occasionally you may want to clean the solar panels with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or dust that has accumulated on the panel. This will allow unobstructed absorption of sunlight and will keep your solar lights performing at their best.
